Import guides: bring your history into Refract from any app

Refract reads the export file of every tracker listed here. Each guide says where the export lives in the source app, what the file is called, what comes across, and what does not. Review each import's preview and undo options. Refract backup restores cannot be undone.

• Netflix: Two Netflix files work: the viewing-history CSV you can download now, or the full personal-data export.
• Letterboxd: Export your data from Letterboxd (one ZIP), upload it in Refract, and your diary, ratings, reviews, watchlist and lists come across.
• Trakt: Trakt's raw export (Settings → Data) is one ZIP.

• Spreadsheet or CSV template: Fill Refract's CSV template with your own list of movies and series and upload it: rows placed beyond doubt are imported, the rest are reported, never guessed..
• Refract backup (restore on a new phone): Export & Backup makes one ZIP of your Refract account.
• TV Time: TV Time closed on July 15, 2026.

Which file should I start with?

The one with dates. Trakt, Letterboxd, Simkl, Bingers, Sofa Time, Movie Paradise, Showly, SuiteTV and the TV Time exports carry the day you watched each episode or film, so your diary and stats are right from the first minute. Netflix's full personal-data export carries watch times too. IMDb and JustWatch give you a library without dates. If you have several files, import them all: each one only adds what is missing.
